"There is beauty in the process of destruction and transformation". - Cornelia Parker.

Canterbury College of Art - BA hons Fine Art Sculpture 1976

Münich Academy of Fine Arts - 'Diplom' Painting and Illustration 1985

Liverpool John Moores - PGCE Art and Design 1991

I am based in north Wales.

I work in response to whatever ideas or visual stimuli resonate with me at any given time. However, in my abstract work a recurring theme in various forms is to do with transience.

I aim to create signs and symbols that suggest past histories.

"Ruins for me are the beginning. With the debris, you can construct new ideas. They are symbols of a beginning". - Anselm Kiefer.
